Exams begin Monday. Students who are not exempt will need to bring with them the exam review (possible +10 on the exam), unused privilege passes (no more than 2 can be used per quarter, +5 each added into total points for the quarter), a pencil since scantrons will be used, and books that haven’t been turned in yet or book fines that have not been paid for yet.

This week we will review verbs like prendre & how to form the imperative (commands). We will also review the chapter and begin exam reviews. There will be a book check Tuesday.

We will also learn about the partitive article (du, de la, de l', and des) which can be used with nouns to imply "some" or "part" of an item. We will also learn to use -ir verbs. Students in French I will learn basic vocabulary and grammar that will allow them to communicate at a basic level. We focus on speaking, writing, and reading comprehension. They will also learn about France and other francophone cultures.
