This week we will be reviewing classroom rules and IB themes that will be discussed throughout the year. We will begin pre-assessments for speaking, writing, reading comprehension, and reflections. We will also discuss Le Petit Prince as it relates to the IB themes.
Tuesday and Wednesday this week are senior makeup days. This will give seniors an opportunity to bring up their averages. Thursday and Friday are senior exam days.
Senior exam schedule: Thursday, June 3 1st, 3rd, 5th, & 7th period exams Friday, June 4 2nd, 4th, & 6th period exams This week we will complete more Fluent Key listening comprehension practices to review some topics we've learned about over the years.
This week we will present Q4 projects and work on our last current event classwork assignment.
This week we will practice listening comprehension through videos on www.fluentkey.com.
***We will be asynchronous Wednesday due to EOC testing. ***Don't forget your projects are due Monday, May 17! End of course testing begins this week, so this class will be asynchronous every day except Wednesday because I will be proctoring the tests. Follow the schedule below which is also posted in Teams:

***Pay attention to due dates. If you finish any work early, please use this time to work on your Q4 Presentation. This week we will complete a reading assessment, discuss the project for this quarter, and current events.
This week we will review videos that were submitted for the Manie Musicale Chantez and Dansez assignment. We will also discuss French club, French Honor Society, and study skills and strategies for the internal assessment for future students.
This week we will complete Internal Assessments Tuesday and Wednesday. We will also reflect on our performance.

Details
Students in IB French II will continue learning vocabulary and more advanced grammar that will allow them to communicate at a more advanced level. We focus on speaking, writing, and reading, and listening comprehension. This course is aimed to prepare them for the IB exam at the end of the year. Students will use the 5 IB themes (identities, experiences, human ingenuity, social organization, and sharing the planet) as they speak, write, and interpret readings and in the course.
The concepts in IB French II are very advanced. Students are expected to continue preparing at home by studying regularly to keep up with the pace of the class and always submit assignments on time. Archives
